We have two lodges. Lodge one has just been completed in August 2016, we aim to have lodge two ready for Summer 2017.
Corsewall Castle Farm is a working farm, we keep beef cattle and grow crops, so there may be activities going on during your stay (whether noisy or quiet!!), please be vigilant if out and about.
Entering the front door, you will find a solid oak floored vestibule with console table. .
The bright lounge has a Charnwood wood burning stove sat on a slate hearth with a solid oak mantle. Seating is provided by means of a modular ‘J-shaped’ sofa. The lounge leads through to the sun room with stunning views to the east, south and west. Comfortable wicker style seating is used here.
Access to the kitchen/diner can be gained by an interconnecting set of double French doors from the lounge, thus creating a wonderful, flowing, open living space. Off the kitchen is a very generous sized utility room which houses a washing machine, tumble drier, an additional freezer, copious cupboard space and coat pegs once again above a radiator. The utility room with WC off opens out to the rear and is suitable for wheelchair access.
The kitchen, designed with ease of entertaining in mind, boasts a magnificent 10 seater oak table with fabric upholstered chairs. Further seating in the form of old-fashioned tractor seats can be found around the stunning centre island unit complete with black granite worktop. A stainless steel American style fridge-freezer and separate integrated drinks cooler unit will provide ample refrigeration and drinks cooling space for the largest of parties. The black Rangemaster double oven and 5 burner gas top will allow feasts to be prepared with ease. An integrated dishwasher will take care of the dishes afterwards. The kitchen opens out to the back via sliding patio doors. There is also a large cupboard off the kitchen.
By using zip-and-link beds, we are able to offer any sleeping arrangement from 4 super-king beds to 8 single beds. The nautical themed children’s room sleeps one in a full size single day bed. Cots are available upon request. The children’s room and the sumptuous master bedroom, suitable for disabled access with en-suite, are located on the ground floor.
On ascending the staircase you will discover a recess with amazing views and a comfy chair from which to enjoy them. There are 3 large bedrooms located upstairs. One of which has en-suite shower room and the other two are served by the generous family bathroom.
All of our beautiful bedrooms aim to be a place of sanctuary after a busy day.
Moving outside, seating facilities are available. There is lawn surrounding the house and a huge chipped area for parking, playing or running around on. A gated drive leads up to the lodges and once shut this is a secure area for children to play.
There is plenty of space to pitch a tent, fly a kite or cycle around.
Cots, high-chairs, and other baby items are available. Please bring your own cot linen and let us know your requirements when booking and we will do all we can to meet your needs.
